Patrick King
Choreographer, Director, Dancer

Born in the British West Indies, he is one of the Alumni of Dance Theatre of Harlem. In his career as a dancer Patrick has worked with groundbreaking choreographers such as Louis Falco in the classic movie Fame and later with Jiří Kylián, Mats Ek and William Forsythe.

As Creator and Choreographer his list of clients include: Cirque du Soleil, Norwegian National Ballet, International Olympic Committee, Valentino, FENDI, Venice Film Festival, RAI 1, RAI-SAT, The Norwegian Royal family, Moet & Chandon, ic! Berlin, Teatro Olimpico, Molde International Jazz festival, World Pride, Terme di Saturnia Spa&Golf Resort, Jean Louis David and Björn Axén.

Qi - A Palace Extravaganza, Berlin: Choreographer (mixing martial arts, tango, ballet and pole dancing).

Breaking The Ballet - Norwegian National Ballet, Oslo: Choreographer (mixing the stars of classical ballet with hip-hop dancers).

Intimate Distance - Norwegian National Opera & Ballet, Oslo: Choreographer (an installation of video, art and movements).

Ambrosia - The Show Experience, Berlin: Choreographer (a show inspired by the freedom and elegant decadence of the "Roaring 20ies" in Berlin).

Othello - Skanes Dansteater, Stockholm: Choreographer (bringing Shakespeare's monumental work onto Scandinavia's largest theatre stage as a 3 act ballet with 25 dancers and full orchestra).

Each One, Teach One - The National Theatre, Norway: Choreographer (bringing the life story of one of Scandinavia's most famous and prolific dancers to stage. A show featuring 4 break dancers and a DJ. This was the National Theatre's best selling dance performance ever, touring more than 30 cities in Scandinavia).
