Steve Last is a music producer, recording artist, composer and musician. He is known in the world beat arena as the creator and mastermind behind the Galactic Caravan project and one of the composers and creators of the Bellydance Superstars shows (a professional American bellydance troupe formed in 2002). In its first six years of touring, the Bellydance Superstars presented over 700 shows in 22 countries.

He is also the creator of the Neotango Syndicate and the artist behind Global Beat Manifesto. The Galactic Caravan album series is released through Universal Music. Global Beat Manifesto and Neotango Syndicate are released through Eclectic Harbor/Believe Digital.

Other projects he has created and produced were Baghdad Heavy Metal (Universal Music) a fusion rock/world beat production featuring an All Star cast of Middle Eastern artists as well as iconic American artists Sammy Hagar and guitarist Steve Hunter, who is known for his work with Peter Gabriel and Lou Reed; O +, an electronica/world beat production for poet/performance artist Victoria Cyr, as well as the recent album Mystery Of Rhythm (Universal Music) by Syrian tabla legend and the master drummer behind the Bellydance Superstars, Issam Houshan.

Steve Last has also worked more recently as a remixer for Trent Reznor's "How To Destroy Angels", Christina Aguillera, Matisyahu, Linkin Park, Paloma Faith, Leona Lewis, Serj Tankian and many more. He has also remixed artists like Sting, Aswad, Hakim, Rachid Taha, Transglobal Underground and many others, and has created tracks for Mario Reyes (Gypsy Kings), Emma Shaplin, Steve Stevens, Cheb Mami, Zohar, Faudel and Rayess Bek.
